I'm Sheila. My service is called ‘Options-London’ and is currently all online using Teams video, phone and email. I'm based in London, in the Borough of Sutton, Surrey. I support people all around London and in other UK towns and cities as well as clients who live overseas.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Career Guidance and specialise in supporting graduate level professionals with their career management, in particular those who are facing a crossroads, such as redundancy, a wish for more satisfaction at work, uncertainty about career direction, returning to work after a career break or other situations. I also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapy, which gives me additional tools to support people with managing their well-being, as part of my career support service.
It’s often a challenge to work out what your true career 'anchors' are, roles to go for and then to persuade recruiters that you’re the right person for the job. I love supporting people on that journey and have assisted lots of early and mid career and ‘returner’ accountants, engineers, architects, lawyers, other business services people to progress their careers.
I also have particular experience in supporting international clients to address UK employment issues around diversity and inclusion. For example, how to express overseas qualifications, skills and experience to recruiters who may need assistance to do that effectively.
Ali Mokhtari, Accountant

Warille Warille, Engineering Project Manager
Since joining I have (had support in) networking and effective job search. Sheila .. understands UK employers’ needs in terms of skills and qualification requirements.
Vladimir Bouilov, Technical Compliance Professional
Thank you for providing valuable information and support that helped me to learn about new resources and tools for job hunting and business idea development. This helps me to continue working on both “projects “ in parallel. I really appreciate it.
Biniam Haddish, Electrical Engineer
I met Sheila when I was looking to break into the UK skilled workforce as a refugee graduate engineer. She supported me with understanding my skills and she was the one who kicked off my career and still supports me ever since. Her understanding of what her clients are looking for and her initiative to support is extraordinary.
Sue A, Business Services Professional
Sheila was a pleasure to work with. Very helpful and very good when it comes to assessing goals and developing a plan of action for my career development. Very supportive even between sessions and always willing to go the extra mile. The notes and summaries provided after each session were a useful addition, which assisted with keeping everything on track.
Sarah Rushby, Creative Sector Management
Working with Sheila has been a great experience. Besides the fact that Sheila is very kind and easy to speak with, she is also hugely insightful in developing a personal brand, networking and guiding you through the process of CV and cover letter improvement. With her help I have gained confidence in my own experience after several set backs and cannot thank her enough.

Dominic Nolan, Education Programme Manager, IBM.
Working with Sheila was a very positive experience. She created a non-judgemental space for me to reflect and rediscover my values and career drivers. The notes and actions Sheila provided after every session were extremely helpful. I now feel I have a better understanding of the direction I want my career to go in and how I can get there.
